Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 10, 2026

Short version: this is a small personal project, and it does not send anything you type to a server or store it off your device. Here's the detail behind that.

Forms (Newsletter & Contact)

The "Subscribe to our Newsletter" pop-up and the Contact page both ask for a name and email address. These forms are front-end demos only: when you submit one, your browser shows a confirmation message, but the information you typed is never sent to a server, saved to a database, or shared with anyone. As soon as you close or reload the page, it's gone.

Saved Favourites

On the recipes pages you can save a recipe to your favourites. Your list of saved recipes is kept in your browser's local storage, on your device only. It is never transmitted anywhere, and no other visitor or site owner can see it — it simply lets the site remember which recipes you starred when you come back.

Other Data Stored in Your Browser

Your light/dark theme choice and your menu-planner checkboxes are also saved in local storage, the same way — on your device, never sent anywhere. See our Cookie Policy for how local storage differs from a cookie.

Analytics & Tracking

This site does not run any analytics, advertising, or tracking scripts. We don't know who you are, what pages you've visited, or anything else about you as a visitor.

Third-Party Services

Page fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which may receive standard technical request information (like your IP address) as part of delivering the font files, the same as any other font or image hosted off-site. No other third-party service is used on this site.

Children's Privacy

This site is family-friendly and does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children, because it does not collect information from anyone at all.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy is ever updated, the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will change to reflect that.
